<Name>head power</Name>
<Description>
<DescriptionText><text>
head power
</text></DescriptionText>
<DescriptionText><text>
The power out of the head is measured with the nose piece sensor. The measured
power in watts is for whatever channels are currently set to on by the command
"spot". Make sure that the head NVS parameters "hpwrgain", "hpslope" and
"hpoffset" are set correctly.
</text></DescriptionText>
<DescriptionText><text>
head power pulse
</text></DescriptionText>
<DescriptionText><text>
The head repeatedly measures the ratio of the power emitted when a group of
pixels are turned on to the power emitted when all pixels are turned off, and
displays the average value. Use the command "spot" to turn on the pixels to be
measured. Make sure that the head NVS parameter "bpgain" is set correctly.
Used for field service and integration.
</text></DescriptionText>
<DescriptionText><text>
head power full
</text></DescriptionText>
<DescriptionText><text>
All the pixels are turned on and the power out of the head as measured by the
nose piece sensor is returned in watts. Make sure that the head NVS parameters
"hpwrgain", "hpslope" and "hpoffset" are set correctly.
</text></DescriptionText>
<DescriptionText><text>
head power sum
</text></DescriptionText>
<DescriptionText><text>
All pixels are turned on sequentially in pairs. The power for each pair is
measured with the nose piece sensor, and the results are summed up at the end
to obtain the total head power. The power out of the head is returned in
watts. Make sure that the head NVS parameters "bpgain", "hsslope" and
"hsoffset" are set correctly.
</text></DescriptionText>
<DescriptionText><text>
head power off
</text></DescriptionText>
<DescriptionText><text>
All the pixels are turned off and the leakage power out of the head as measured
by the nose piece sensor is returned in watts. Make sure that the head NVS
parameters "hpwrgain", "hpslope" and "hpoffset" are set correctly.
</text></DescriptionText>
<DescriptionText><text>
head power all
</text></DescriptionText>
<DescriptionText><text>
All the channels are measured one at a time using the same method as used for
the command "head power pulse". This is the same as what is done for the
command "stroke profile" but the format of the output is different. The results
are reported with 3 numbers on a line starting with the channel number, then
the channel power and lastly the target channel power from the last stroke cal.
This last column could be meaningless if a stroke cal has not been done since
the last reboot. The laser must be turned on before this command may be used.
It is important to let the nose piece detector warm up with the laser on. The
built in warm up time before the measurement starts is set by the hdp NVS
parameter "brt".
